• Account data: your name, work email, password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider) and the date you accepted our Terms.
• Profile and Company Page data: job title, company, location, industry, sourcing categories, certifications, logos, photos and any other details you choose to add.
• Content and activity: posts, RFQs, proposals, product listings, messages, attachments, reactions, bonds and saved items.
• Technical data: session cookies needed to keep you signed in, device and browser information, and logs used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• to operate the Platform, including your feed, search, recommendations and notifications;
• to deliver RFQs, proposals and messages to the users you interact with;
• to keep the Platform secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms;
• to communicate with you about your account and important changes;
• to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. What Other Users See

jonsbond is a networking platform: your public profile, Company Pages, posts and showcases are visible to other users and, where noted, to visitors. RFQs and proposals are shared with the counterparties involved, and messages with their recipients. Information you share with another user is then under their control — jonsbond does not verify other users and is not responsible for how they use it. Share sensitive commercial documents only with counterparties you have vetted.

4. Service Providers and Legal Disclosure

We use trusted providers to host our database, files and authentication, and to send email. They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

5. Retention and Security

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to meet legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations. We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database security, but no system is perfectly secure.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can view and edit your profile and Company Pages, and manage your signed-in sessions, from your account settings. To close your account, contact us through the Platform. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, or to object to its processing. To exercise them, contact us through the Platform.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and we will notify you of material changes.
